Carrara Stadium
Carrara Stadium (known commercially as Metricon Stadium) is a stadium on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia, located in the suburb of Carrara. The stadium is primarily used for Australian rules football, serving as the home ground of the Gold Coast Suns, who compete in the Australian Football League. In addition, the venue is used occasionally for cricket, including Big Bash League matches. Carrara Stadium received substantial redevelopment work prior to the entry of the Brisbane Bears to the VFL/AFL in 1987, but following the Bears relocation to the Gabba in 1993, it was used for other sports including rugby league, rugby union and even baseball. The stadium has hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2018 Commonwealth Games as well as the athletics competitions. Stacey Chepkemboi Ndiwa
Stacey Chepkemboi Ndiwa (born 6 December 1992) is a Kenyan female long-distance runner who competes across cross country, track and road running disciplines. She was a gold medallist at the 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games in the 1500 metres and was a team silver medallist at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships in 2015, where she was fifth individually. She was also a bronze medallist in the 1500 m at the 2011 African Junior Athletics Championships. Ndiwa competed for the Kenya Police team, and won the team championships in the 5000 metres in 2013 and the cross country championship in 2015. She won the Tuskys Wareng Cross Country in 2012. Her IAAF Diamond League debut came at the 2014 Athletissima meet. Eloise Wellings
Eloise Wellings (née Poppett) (born 9 November 1982 in White Plains, New York, United States) is an Australian long-distance runner. She represented her country at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, the 2010 edition in New Delhi and the 2014 edition in Glasgow, and the 2012 Summer Olympics. In 2016, she made the finals of both the 5,000m and 10,000m races at 2016 Summer Olympics. She was the gold medalist over 5000 metres at the 2003 Summer Universiade. She has also competed internationally in cross country running – her best finish to date was 22nd in the long race at the 2006 IAAF World Cross Country Championships. She won two consecutive titles at the Zatopek 10,000 metres in 2009, 2010 and 2015. Personal life Wellings is a Christian. Camille Buscomb
Camille Buscomb (born 11 July 1990) is a New Zealand long distance runner. School and US college Buscomb attended St Peter's School in Cambridge, New Zealand. She competed over 1500m in the World Youth Championships in 2007 and the 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games. From 2009 she spent two and a half years on an athletics scholarship at Purdue University in Indiana, USA. She eventually transferred her studies from Purdue to the University of Waikato in New Zealand, where she was offered a Hillary Scholarship in 2015. Career After returning to New Zealand, won her first national title in 2012, over 3000 metres, and also came second in New Zealand's 800m championship.
