Beijing National Stadium
The National Stadium (), also known as the Bird's Nest (), is an 80,000-capacity stadium in Beijing. Grand Ayatollah Hussein-Ali Montazeri ( fa, حسینعلی منتظری ; 24 September 1922 – 19 December 2009) was an Iranian Shia Islamic theologian, Islamic democracy advocate, writer and human rights activist. He was one of the leaders of the Iranian Revolution and one of the highest-ranking authorities in Shīʿite Islam. He was once the designated successor to the revolution's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khomeini, but they had a falling-out in 1989 over government policies that Montazeri claimed infringed on people's freedom and denied them their rights, especially after the 1988 mass execution of political prisoners. Nassima Saifi (; born 29 October 1988) is a Paralympian Track and field, athlete from Algeria competing mainly in category Athletics at the 2008 Summer Paralympics – Women's shot put F57–58, F58 throwing events. Specialising in both the discus throw and shot put, Saifi is a double Paralympic gold medal winner and three time IPC Athletics World Championships, World Champion. Personal history Saifi was born in Mila Province, Mila, Algeria in 1988. Born able-bodied, she had her left leg amputated following after being hit by a car in 1998. Her father, realizing she needed something to work on in her spare time, encouraged her to take up an athletics career. She joined the Mila handisport club where she was able to train. Eucharia Njideka Iyiazi (born 19 November 1973) is a Paralympian athlete from Nigeria competing mainly in category F57/58 shot put and discus throw events. She has competed at four paralympics taking two gold, a silver and two bronze medals. Iyiazi competed in the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing, China. There, she won a gold medal in both the women's shot put F57/F58 event and the women's discus throw F57/F58 event. At the Beijing Paralympics, Iyiazzi set the world and Paralympic record for the F58 class in shot put and discus. Iyiazi took a bronze medal in the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London. Ivanka Koleva ( bg, Иванка Колева) (born 9 December 1968) is a Paralympian track and field athlete from Bulgaria competing mainly in throwing events in the T57 classification. Koleva has represented Bulgaria at four Summer Paralympics from 2000 to 2012, winning gold in the shot put in the 2000 Summer Paralympics in Sydney. She was also world champion in the discus in 1994, and competed once as a powerlifter in the 2008 Summer Paralympics at Beijing. Personal history Koleva was born in Chirpan Bulgaria in 1968. Her mother had a kidney problem during pregnancy and was given a medication which had a harmful effect on the foetus. Due to this Koleva was born with impairments to her legs which resulted in them being amputated when she was six years-old. Catalina Rosales Montiel is a paralympic athlete from Mexico competing mainly in category F58 throwing events. Catalina's Paralympic games career has spanned four games and 16 years. Her first games came in 1992 Summer Paralympics in Barcelona where she competed in the discus, shot and javelin.
