The men's 200 metres at the 2024 Summer Olympics is scheduled to be held in four rounds at the Stade de France in Paris, France, between 5 and 8 August 2024. This will be the 29th time that the men's 200 metres is contested at the Summer Olympics. A total of 48 athletes will be able to qualify for the event by entry standard or ranking. Pietro Paolo Mennea (; 28 June 1952 – 21 March 2013), nicknamed ("the Arrow of the South"), was an Italian sprinter and politician.
