Tokyo National Stadium
The Japan National Stadium, officially named and formerly known as or , is a multi-purpose stadium used mostly for association football in Kasumigaokamachi, Kasumigaoka, Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. Daniel Jonathan Sidbury (born 3 April 1994) is a British wheelchair racer. He won the silver medal in the men's 1500 metres T54 event at the 2022 Commonwealth Games held in Birmingham, England. He is also a two-time bronze medalist at the 2023 World Para Athletics Championships held in Paris, France. Career Sidbury is a T54-classified athlete who competes in wheelchair racing competitions. In 2021, he won the silver medal in the men's 1500 metres T54 event at the World Para Athletics European Championships held in Bydgoszcz, Poland. Kenny van Weeghel (born 16 September 1980 in Zwolle) is a Paralympic athlete from the Netherlands competing in the 100, 200 and 400 m T54 class wheelchair racing. He participated in the Paralympic games six times already and he has won 6 Paralympic medals among which two golden ones. Athletics career Weeghel won the 200m at the European Championships in 2001. This was his first main title and there were many to come. In 2002 he became World Champion by winning the 100m and a year later he won both the 100m and 200m during the World Championships. At the European Championships that same year (2003) he won the 200m and 400m. Tomoki Suzuki (athlete)
Tomoki Suzuki ( ja, 鈴木 朋樹, born 14 June 1994) is a Japanese wheelchair racer, who won the 2020 Tokyo Marathon, came second at the 2015, 2018, 2021 and 2023 Tokyo Marathons, and came third at the 2017 Tokyo and 2019 and 2023 London Marathons. Suzuki competed in multiple events at the 2020 Summer Paralympics, and won a bronze medal in the mixed 4 × 100 metres relay. Personal life Suzuki was born on 14 June 1994 in Tateyama, Chiba, Japan. At the age of eight months, Suzuki was involved in a car accident that left him with paraplegia. He now lives in Tokyo. Aaron Pike (born May 4, 1986) is an American athlete who competes in wheelchair racing, biathlon, and cross-country skiing. He has competed at the 2012, 2016 and 2020 Summer Paralympics, as well as the 2014, 2018 and 2022 Winter Paralympics. Pike finished second at the 2022 Boston Marathon, third at the 2021 and 2022 Chicago Marathons, and fourth at the 2018 and 2019 New York City Marathons as well as the 2021 Boston Marathon.
