Haile Gebrselassie ( am, ኀይሌ ገብረ ሥላሴ, ''haylē gebre silassē''; born 18 April 1973) is an Ethiopian retired long-distance track, road running athlete, and businessman. He won two Olympic gold medals and four World Championship titles over the 10,000 metres. He triumphed in the Berlin Marathon four times consecutively and also had three straight wins at the Dubai Marathon. Ali Hasan Mahboob (born Silas Kirui on 31 December 1981 in Kapsabet) is a Kenyan-born Bahraini long-distance runner. He became a naturalized citizen of Bahrain (switching from his birth country Kenya) ahead of the 2006 season. Abdellah Falil ( ar, عبدالله فليل; born 1976) is a Moroccan professional long-distance runner. He was selected for the national Olympic squad for the 2008 Beijing Olympics and finished 16th in the 10,000 metres final. Galen Rupp (born May 8, 1986) is an American long-distance runner. He competed in the Summer Olympics in 2008 in Beijing, 2012 in London, 2016 in Rio de Janeiro and 2021 in Tokyo.
