Centennial Olympic Stadium
Centennial Olympic Stadium was the 85,000-seat main stadium of the 1996 Summer Olympics and Paralympics in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Construction of the stadium began in 1993, and it was complete and ready for the opening ceremony in July 1996, where it hosted track and field events and the closing ceremony. Fatima Yusuf-Olukoju (born 2 May 1971 in Owo, Ondo) is a retired Nigerian athlete who competed mainly in the 400 metres during her career. Merlene Frazer (born 27 December 1973, Trelawny, Jamaica) is a retired female track and field sprinter from Jamaica who specialized in the 200 metres. Dr. Grace-Ann Dinkins (born September 13, 1966) also known as Gracie-Ann Dinkins or Grace Dinkins, is an Olympic-class track and field athlete from the USA who competes for Liberia, her parents' home country, in the 100 m, 200 m, and 400 m races.
