Ather Shah Khan Jaidi
Athar Shah Khan (Urdu:اطہر شاہ خان; January 1, 1943 – May 10, 2020) was a Pakistani comedian, poet and writer. He performed in many of his plays, dramas, and films scripted for Radio Pakistan, Pakistan Television, and Lollywood. He is more popularly known by his own-created character ''Jaidi'' (). He is the recipient of the Pride of Performance Award (2001). Early life and education Born on 1st January 1943 in the Indian city of Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, Athar Shah Khan arrived in Karachi in 1947. Later, he settled in Lahore. He gained his primary education in Lahore and secondary education in Peshawar. He completed his graduate degree from Urdu Science College, now Federal Urdu University in Karachi. Later, he gained a Masters in Journalism from University of the Punjab Lahore. In 1957, he moved back to Karachi. Rampur, Uttar Pradesh
Rampur ( ) is a city, and the municipality headquarter of Rampur District in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It was formerly known for its various industries, like sugar refining and cotton milling. Its library has more than 12,000 rare manuscripts and a fine collection of Mughal Empire, Mughal miniature paintings.It is located 322 kilometres north-west of the state capital Lucknow. Nadeem Baig (actor)
Mirza Nazeer Baig (born 19 July 1941), also known by his stage name Nadeem ( ur, ندیم) is a Pakistani actor, singer and producer. He has appeared in over two hundred films and has won the 1997 Pride of Performance award. In Pakistan Nadeem enjoys the same status as Amitabh Bachchan enjoys in India. Early life Baig was born in Vijayawada in modern Andhra Pradesh which, in 1941, was part of Madras Presidency in British India. Nadeem Baig migrated to Dhaka, East Pakistan along with his family after the independence of Pakistan in 1947.
