Ashat Raqymjanov
Ashat Nurmagambetuly Raqymjanov (, ''Ashat Nūrmağambetūly Raqymjanov'', ; born 10 June 1983) is a Kazakh politician who's serving as the chairman of Nationwide Social Democratic Party (JSDP) since 6 September 2019. Prior to that, he was chairman of the Astana City Branch of the JSDP. Biography Rahymjanov was born in 1983 in Kazakh SSR. In 2005, he graduated from the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University in Astana with a degree in political science. Nationwide Social Democratic Party
The Nationwide Social Democratic Party ( kk, Жалпы ұлттық социал-демократиялық партия, Jalpyūlttyq Sotsial-Demokratialyq Partia, JSDP), sometimes translated as the All-National Social Democratic Party, is a political party in Kazakhstan led by Ashat Raqymjanov. It was founded by a former presidential candidate and the Mazhilis Chairman, Zharmakhan Tuyakbay. The party was registered by the authorities on 25 January 2007, aiming to become a member of the Socialist International (SI) which happened in 2012 as the JSDP became consultative member, and then a full member in 2016. Ermurat Bapi
Ermurat Seitkazyuly Bapi (, , ''Ermūrat Seiıtqazyūly Bäpi''; born 7 March 1959) is a Kazakh politician and journalist who was the Chairman of Nationwide Social Democratic Party (JSDP) from 26 April to 6 September 2019. He is the editor of the independent newspaper Tasjargan (Zhuma-Times and Aina Plus). Biography Early life and education Bapi was born in the village of Qarabulaq in East Kazakhstan Region. In 1976, he was a correspondent of the Zaisan Regional newspaper. From 1977 to 1980, he served in the Soviet Navy of Kamchatka Submarine Flotilla of the Red Banner Pacific Fleet, where he was a petty officer in reserve. In 1985, Bapi graduated from the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with a degree in journalism. Astana
Astana, previously known as Akmolinsk, Tselinograd, Akmola, and most recently Nur-Sultan, is the capital city of Kazakhstan. The city lies on the banks of the Ishim (river), Ishim River in the north-central part of Kazakhstan, within the Akmola Region, though administered as a city with special status separately from the rest of the region.
