Armed To The Teeth (Abandoned Pools Album)
''Armed to the Teeth'' is the second studio album by the American rock band Abandoned Pools. It was released on September 27, 2005, though Universal Records. The album is preceded by '' The Reverb EP'', released June 7. The album draws on traditional progressive rock elements, combining them with diverse elements ranging from Mexican folk music to German polka. The tracks "Tighter Noose" and "Waiting to Panic" originally appeared on ''The Reverb'' EP, but were then both re-recorded for this album. Ken Andrews
Ken Andrews (born Kenneth Andrew Doty; June 18, 1967) is an American musician, singer-songwriter, and record producer. Andrews was born in Seattle, Washington, and attended film school in Los Angeles before his band Failure received a record deal from Slash Records. Career He is best known as co-founder, lead vocalist, guitarist, bassist and co-songwriter of the alternative rock band Failure. He has also played in Replicants, a cover band side project that also included members of Tool. Mastering, a form of audio post production, is the process of preparing and transferring recorded audio from a source containing the final mix to a data storage device (the master), the source from which all copies will be produced (via methods such as pressing, duplication or replication). Stephen Marcussen is the founder and chief mastering engineer at Marcussen Mastering in Hollywood, California, United States. He has been mastering music since 1979. Biography Marcussen's introduction to music recording happened in 1976 when, at the age of 19, he was offered a janitor position at Studio 55, record producer Richard Perry's Los Angeles recording studio. At Studio 55, Marcussen received an education in all facets of music recording and sound production.
