Ardabil Dialect
Ardabil dialect is a dialect of Azerbaijani that is used by people from and around the Iranian city of Ardabil. The dialect has also been recorded in Alni, Astara, Germi, Hir, Irdemousa, Khalkhal, Kiwi, Meshginshahr, Namin, and Sareyn. The speakers of Ardabili dialect are estimated to be more than one million people, most of whom live in Ardabil or its surrounding areas. Ardabili dialect in the city of Ardabil itself is also divided into three categories, which are distinguished from each other by a slight difference: The accent of the six neighborhoods: includes the local context of the people of Ardabil city who have been living in this city since ancient times. Ardabil
Ardabil (, ) is a city in northwestern Iran. It is in the Central District (Ardabil County), Central District of Ardabil County, Ardabil province, Ardabil province, Iran, serving as capital of the province, the county, and the district. Irdemousa
Irdemousa () is a city in, and the capital of, Sabalan District in Sareyn County, Ardabil province, Iran. It also serves as the administrative center for Sabalan Rural District. The closest major cities include Ardabil, Tabriz, Rasht, and Zanjan. Demographics Population At the time of the 2006 National Census, Irdemousa's population was 725 in 158 households, when it was a village in Sabalan Rural District of the former Sareyn District in Ardabil County. The following census in 2011 counted 789 people in 249 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Sareyn County. Oghuz Turks
The Oghuz Turks ( Middle Turkic: , ) were a western Turkic people who spoke the Oghuz branch of the Turkic language family. Sareyn () is a city in the Central District of Sareyn County, Ardabil province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district. Demographics Population At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 4,478 in 1,135 households, when it was capital of the former Sareyn District in Ardabil County. The following census in 2011 counted 4,440 people in 1,241 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Sareyn County. Meshginshahr () is a city in the Central District (Meshgin Shahr County), Central District of Meshgin Shahr County, Ardabil province, Ardabil province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district. History The 14th-century author Hamdallah Mustawfi mentioned the city, as ''Khiyāv'', as one of the seven cities in the ''Tumen (unit), tuman'' of Pishkin, or Mishkin. Khalkhal () is a city in the Central District of Khalkhal County, Ardabil province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district. Demographics At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 38,521 in 9,619 households. The following census in 2011 counted 41,165 people in 11,213 households.
