Archie Hoxton
Archibald Robinson Hoxton (June 28, 1875 – October 14, 1951) was an American football player, coach, and educator. He served as the head football coach at the University of Virginia from 1899 to 1900, compiling a record of 11–5–3. The 1899 college football season had no clear-cut champion, with the ''Official NCAA Division I Football Records Book'' listing Harvard and Princeton as having been selected national champions.
