An arborist, tree surgeon, or (less commonly) arboriculturist, is a professional in the practice of arboriculture, which is the cultivation, management, and study of individual trees, shrubs, vines, and other perennial woody plants in dendrology and horticulture. The Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) was the national credit transfer system for education qualification in England, Northern Ireland and Wales until October 2015.. The Tree Council was founded in 1974 in the United Kingdom, and became a registered charity in 1978. Standish is a small village and civil parish in the Stroud (district), Stroud non-metropolitan district, local government district in Gloucestershire, England.
