Valentin Vaala (born Valentin Yakovich Ivanoff, Russian: Валентин Якович Иванов; 13 October 1909 in Helsinki – 21 November 1976 in Helsinki) was a Finnish film director, screenwriter and film editor. Toivo Joel Rinne (6 June 1897, Asikkala – 3 December 1981) was a prolific Finnish actor of stage and screen. Among his most memorable film parts was the title role in the Inspector Palmu movie series, which started in 1960's ''Komisario Palmun erehdys'', and continued in three sequels. Another well-known role in Joel Rinne is in the 1970 film ''Päämaja'', directed by Matti Kassila, in which Rinne interprets in the role of Marshal Mannerheim. Joel Rinne also appeared on the radio. In the 1960's Finnish-language audio drama version of ''Gestatten, mein Name ist Cox'' ("Good Evening, My Name Is Cox"), he played the title character, the adventurer Paul Cox. Risto Orko
Risto Orko (born Risto Eliel William Nylund; 15 September 1899 – 29 September 2001) was a Finnish film producer and director. Orko was born in Rauma. With a career of over 60 years at the film studio Suomi-Filmi, he rose to be head of production and chief director in the 1930s. He became its CEO in 1945. In the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s, Suomi-Filmi produced hundreds of films and numerous shorts. In the years 1933–43, Orko directed many films, including two (''Aktivistit'' and ''Jääkärin morsian''), which were banned for being "overly patriotic". He had a joint cooperation with the German film industry during World War II. Orko also directed a Finnish-Soviet co-production, released into the American market with subtitles, entitled ''The Day the Earth Froze'' in 1959. Hilkka Kinnunen
Hilkka Terttu Annikki Kinnunen (born 19 March 1925) is a Finnish actress and opera singer. She led the Operettiteatteri from 1959 until 1996 and often even acted as a prima donna performing leading roles. Life and career Kinnunen began her studies in the first annual course of the Suomen Teatterikoulu during the Continuation War in 1943. Before founding the Operettiteatteri, she worked at, among others, the Äänislinna Theater, Helsingin Työväenteatteri and Kansanteatteri. Before the Operettiteatteri, she also appeared in several domestic films, among which is ''April's Coming'' from 1953. Aino Kukkonen edited the book ''Prima-Donna'' about Kinnunen's life in connection with her 80th birthday in 2005, and the story of Hilkka Kinnunen's youth was told in Lotta-Sofia Saahko's book ''Kahvia ja karjalanpiirakoita'', published in 2021.
