Anya Von Bremzen
Anya von Bremzen is a Russian-born American culinary writer who has won the James Beard Award three times. She was born in Soviet Russia, and her works include ''Fiesta'', ''Paladares'', ''The New Spanish Table'', ''The Greatest Dishes: Around the World in 80 Recipes'', ''Terrific Pacific Cookbook'' (co-authored by John Welchman), and ''Please to the Table: The Russian Cookbook'' (coauthored by John Welchman). James Beard Foundation Award
The James Beard Foundation Awards are annual awards presented by the James Beard Foundation to recognize chefs, restaurateurs, authors and journalists in the United States. They are scheduled around James Beard's May 5 birthday.
