Frasnes-lez-Anvaing (; pcd, Fraine-lez-Anvégne; wa, Fraine-dilé-Anvegn) is a municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Hainaut, Belgium. On 1 January 2018 the municipality had 11,740 inhabitants. The total area is 112.44 km², giving a population density of 100 inhabitants per km². The municipality consists of the following districts: Anvaing, Arc-Ainières, Buissenal, Cordes, Dergneau, Forest, Frasnes-lez-Buissenal, Hacquegnies, Herquegies, Montrœul-au-Bois, Moustier, Œudeghien, Saint-Sauveur, and Wattripont. The Arrondissement of Ath (french: Arrondissement d'Ath; nl, Arrondissement Aat) is one of the seven administrative arrondissements in the Walloon province of Hainaut, Belgium. It is not a judicial arrondissement. Ronse
Ronse (; french: Renaix, ) is a Belgian city and a municipality in the Flemish province of East Flanders. The municipality only encompasses the city of Ronse proper. History Early settlements to 14th century The hills around Ronse show clues of human activity in the Paleolithic period. In the Neolithic, the area was populated with settled farmers and cattle breeders. Assorted fragments of building structures also attest of settlements in the area during Roman times. Ronse's urban center took shape in the 7th century, when Saint Amand – or one of his successors – built a church and monastery in honour of Saint Peter and Saint Paul. Alix De Lannoy
Countess Alix de Lannoy (''née'' Alix della Faille de Leverghem; 20 September 1941 – 26 August 2012) was a Belgian noblewoman and the mother of Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie of Luxembourg. Biography Alix was a daughter of Baron Harold della Faille de Leverghem, a member of an Antwerp family ennobled in 1614,Enache, Nicolas. ''La Descendance de Marie-Therese de Habsburg''. Alix married Count Philippe de Lannoy in 1965 and had eight children. Their youngest child, Countess Stéphanie, married Guillaume, Hereditary Grand Duke of Luxembourg, on 20 October 2012. She was living at the Lannoys' ancestral Château de Hun in Anvaing, where she was the honorary librarian of the municipal library.
