Antoñito (footballer, Born 1987)
Antonio Jesús Regal Angulo (born 11 December 1987), commonly known as Antoñito, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as either a right-back or a midfielder for Deportivo de La Coruña. Club career Born in Herrera, Seville, Antoñito graduated from Polideportivo Ejido's youth academy, and made his senior debut in the 2006–07 season with the reserves, in the Tercera División. On 4 November 2007 he played his first match as a professional, coming on as a second-half substitute in a 4–1 Segunda División away loss against UD Salamanca. On 26 January 2008, Antoñito was loaned to Segunda División B club UD Melilla until June. After returning to ''Poli'' he became a regular for the Andalusians, now in the third division. Antoñito continued to compete in division three the following years, representing UD Almería B, Écija Balompié and FC Cartagena. Substitute (association Football)
In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Prior to this most games were played with no changes permitted at all, with occasional exceptions in cases of extreme injury or players not arriving to matches on time. The number of substitutes has risen over time as well as the number of reserve players allowed to be nominated. The Spanish football league system consists of several professional, semi-professional and non-professional leagues bound together hierarchically by promotion and relegation. 2018 Segunda División Play-offs
The 2017–18 Segunda División play-offs were played from June 6 to June 17, 2018 and determined the third team which would be promoted to the top division. Teams placed between 3rd and 6th position excluding reserve teams took part in the promotion play-offs. Valladolid achieved promotion. Regulations The regulations were the same as the previous season: in the semi-finals, the fifth-placed team faced the fourth-placed team, while the sixth-placed team faced the third. Each tie was played over two legs, with the team lower in the table hosting the first leg. The team that scored more goals on aggregate over the two legs advanced to the next round. Segunda División B ( en, Second Division B) was the third tier of the Spanish football league system containing 102 teams divided into five groups, until it was replaced by the new structure in 2021. It was administered by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. It was below the top two professional leagues, the ''Primera División'' (also known as La Liga) and the ''Segunda División'', and above the ''Tercera División''.
