Antisocial (Trust Song)
"Antisocial" is a song by the French hard rock band Trust, from their album ''Répression''. The song was written by Bernie Bonvoisin and Norbert Krief. Unusually for a hard rock track, it was played on mainstream radio stations RTL and France Inter, helping the album sell over 800,000 copies in 1980. Evoking a dehumanised, individualistic and brutal society, the lyrics captured the alienation of a generation disillusioned by the excesses of its elders and the 1973 oil crisis. According to rock critic Michka Assayas, "Antisocial" is "the hymn that definitely buried the Glorious Thirty". Anthrax version American thrash metal band Anthrax covered the song, using the alternate English lyrics, on their 1988 album ''State of Euphoria''. Their cover of the song also appears on the second disc of their compilation album, '' Anthrology: No Hit Wonders (1985–1991)'', along with a version featuring the verses sung in French. Trust (French Band)
Trust was a French hard rock band founded in 1977 and popular in Europe in the first half of the 1980s. The band is best known for guitarist Norbert Krief, Norbert "Nono" Krief's prowess, for Bernie Bonvoisin, Bernard "Bernie" Bonvoisin's voice reminiscent of AC/DC's Bon Scott and for his lyrics about social and political themes. Iron Maiden's drummers Nicko McBrain and Clive Burr were part of Trust line-up in the 1980s. The band disbanded in 1985 and reformed in the 2000s for live shows and new recordings. History Trust was founded in 1977 by Bernie Bonvoisin, Bernard "Bernie" Bonvoisin (vocals, lyricist), Norbert Krief, Norbert "Nono" Krief (guitar, composer), Raymond "Ray" Manna (bass) and Jean-Émile "Jeannot" Hanela (drums). ''Kerrang!'' is a British weekly magazine devoted to rock, punk and heavy metal music, currently published by Wasted Talent (the same company that owns electronic music publication ''Mixmag''). It was first published on 6 June 1981 as a one-off supplement in the ''Sounds'' newspaper. Named after the onomatopoeic word that derives from the sound made when playing a power chord on a distorted electric guitar, ''Kerrang!'' was initially devoted to the new wave of British heavy metal and the rise of hard rock acts. ''Penikufesin'' is the third Extended play, EP by the American thrash metal band Anthrax (American band), Anthrax. Culled from the ''State of Euphoria'' sessions, it was released in August 1989 on Megaforce Records/Island Records. "Parasite" is a song by American hard rock band Kiss, released in 1974 on their second studio album, '' Hotter Than Hell''. The song is one of three songs featured on the album written by lead guitarist Ace Frehley. As one of the album's heaviest songs, "Parasite" was performed on the following tour, but Kiss dropped it from the setlist for the Destroyer Tour and did not play it again until the Revenge Tour in 1992. As Frehley was insecure about his singing ability, he passed that duty to Gene Simmons. In 2016, Frehley re-recorded the track with John 5 for Frehley's solo album ''Origins Vol. 1''. Thrash Metal

"Got the Time" is a song written and performed by the British new wave musician Joe Jackson, appearing as the closing track on his 1979 debut album, '' Look Sharp!''. The song has since been performed frequently in live concerts by Jackson. The song was covered in 1990 by thrash metal band Anthrax and in 2021 by Finnish folk metal band Korpiklaani. Background Jackson had written "Got the Time" in 1977 before assembling the final version of the Joe Jackson Band. Jackson recalled the driving nature of the song was a struggle for his then drummer, Dave Cairns. Jackson explained in his memoir ''A Cure for Gravity'': In a live performance at ''Rock Goes to College'', Jackson dedicated the song to "anyone out there who leads a hectic life".
