Tony Gordon
Tony Gordon is a Character (arts), fictional character from the Television in the United Kingdom, British ITV (TV network), ITV soap opera ''Coronation Street'', portrayed by actor Gray O'Brien. The character first appeared on-screen on 16 September 2007. He appeared as a regular character for two years before departing on 11 December 2009 after being imprisoned for the murder of Liam Connor (Rob James-Collier). He returned on 28 May 2010 after managing to break out of prison with the help of his cellmate Robbie Sloan (James Fleet), whom Tony later betrayed by shooting him dead. The character departed once again on 9 June 2010 after being killed off at the conclusion of his storyline. He was a local businessman, disliked by many of Weatherfield's residents for his ruthlessness. His storylines revolved around his business deals, his relationships with Carla Connor and Maria Connor, and the murder of Liam Connor. Anthony Ralph "Tank" Gordon (''c.'' 1948/49 – 25 March 2012) was a New Zealand rugby league and rugby union footballer and coach who represented the New Zealand Kiwis in the 1975 World Cup and coached them to the 1988 World Cup Final. Anthony Michael Gordon (born 24 February 2001) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for club Everton and the England national under-21 team. Early life Gordon was born in Liverpool, Merseyside. Club career Everton Gordon joined Everton as an 11-year-old following his release from Liverpool. On 6 December 2017, Gordon was named in Everton's first team squad for the Europa League match away to Apollon Limassol. A day later, he made his first-team debut, coming on as an 88th-minute substitute in a 3–0 win. Anthony Gordon (born August 28, 1997) is an American football quarterback for the Arlington Renegades of the XFL. He played college football for the Washington State Cougars and went undrafted in the 2020 NFL Draft. Early years Gordon attended Terra Nova High School in Pacifica, California. During his career he passed for 8,305 yards and 81 touchdowns. College career Gordon played at City College of San Francisco in 2015. In the one season, he completed 286 of 439 passes for 3,864 yards and 37 touchdowns. In 2016 he transferred to Washington State University. He redshirted his first year in 2016 and did not play in any games in 2017. In 2018, he served as the backup to Gardner Minshew. In 2019, Gordon was named the starter and threw for 48 TDs, second most in the nation behind Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow, who went first overall in the 2020 NFL Draft.
