Anjelica Huston
Anjelica Huston ( ; born July 8, 1951) is an American actress and director. Known for often portraying eccentric and distinctive characters, she has received multiple accolades, including an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award, as well as nominations for three British Academy Film Awards and six Primetime Emmy Awards. In 2010, she was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The daughter of director John Huston and granddaughter of actor Walter Huston, she reluctantly made her big screen debut in her father's ''A Walk with Love and Death'' (1969). Huston moved from London to New York City, where she worked as a model throughout the 1970s. Anjelica Selden
Anjelica Maria Selden (born April 26, 1986) is a former collegiate All-American, softball pitcher and coach. She played for UCLA and is the career leader in strikeouts. She also pitched internationally. Vanden High School Selden, who is African-American, was a standout player who eventually earned the 2004 Gatorade Softball Player of the Year award. She also owns high school national records for ERA (0.06; best mark ever) and shutouts (82). As a senior, she pitched 10 consecutive no-hitters and seven perfect games. UCLA Selden began her career by earning 2005 Second Team National Fastpitch Coaches' Association All-American, All-Pac-10 and Pac-10 Newcomer of the Year honors. Her strikeouts and innings pitched were both new school records that remain tops for UCLA. Her wins and career best strikeout ratio (10.4) were good for school top-10 marks all-time. Miss Continental
Miss Continental is an annual female impersonation pageantry system founded in 1980 by Jim Flint. It takes place at the Baton Show Lounge in Chicago, Illinois, and is usually held over Labor Day weekend. In 1991, the Miss Continental Pageantry System created Miss Continental Plus for plus-size competitors weighing 225 pounds or more. Miss Continental Elite was created in 2004 for entertainers forty years of age and older. Miss Continental Plus and Miss Continental Elite had been held each year during Easter weekend in Chicago; now all are held during Labor Day weekend. Mr Continental was formed in 2003 for male entertainers. ''Angelica'' is a genus of about 60 species of tall biennial and perennial herbs in the family Apiaceae, native to temperate and subarctic regions of the Northern Hemisphere, reaching as far north as Iceland, Lapland, and Greenland. They grow to tall, with large bipinnate leaves and large compound umbels of white or greenish-white flowers. Found mainly in China, its main use was for medicine. It shows variations in fruit anatomy, leaf morphology, and subterranean structures. The genes are extremely polymorphic. Some species can be found in purple moor and rush pastures.
