Animosity (Sevendust Album)
''Animosity'' is the third studio album by American rock band Sevendust, released on November 13, 2001 through TVT Records. The album appeared on the ''Billboard'' 200, remained there for thirteen weeks and peaked at No. 28 on December 1, 2001. ''Animosity'' was certified gold on March 11, 2002 through the Recording Industry Association of America. Sevendust released five variations of the album. Two variations were released in the United States with thirteen tracks, one version with explicit lyrics and the other with censored lyrics. Another explicit lyric version was released in the United States with a bonus track, and another censored version was released with two bonus tracks. The China release featured fifteen tracks. Five singles were released from the album, four of which appeared on the mainstream and modern ''Billboard'' charts. "T.O.A.B." Aaron Lewis (born April 13, 1972) is an American musician who is best known as the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist and founding member of the nu metal band Staind, with whom he released seven studio albums. Lajon Witherspoon (born October 3, 1972) is an American singer and songwriter who is the lead vocalist of Atlanta-based rock band Sevendust. Members from bands such as Staind, Seether, Alter Bridge, and Diecast have listed Witherspoon and Sevendust as musical influences. Clint Lowery
Clint Lowery (born December 15, 1971) is an American musician, songwriter and producer, best known as the lead guitarist and backing vocalist of the rock band Sevendust. He has also played in Dark New Day and Still Rain, and served as the touring guitarist for Korn and Seether through most of 2007 and 2017, respectively. In 2008, he decided to work on new music as a solo artist, and the name of the project was titled Hello Demons Meet Skeletons. Lowery wrote and recorded a six-song EP while off the road with Sevendust, just for a week. He played every instrument on the CD, which was produced by his brother Corey Lowery. Morgan Jay Rose (born December 13, 1968) is an American drummer and a founding member of Atlanta-based rock band Sevendust. He is also responsible for much of the background vocals. He has also played drums for Call Me No One and Methods of Mayhem. Rose is vice president of Imagen Records. Early life Rose lived in New Jersey until the age of seven, before he and his family moved back to Atlanta, Georgia. Rose's father was a guitarist and his mother, who followed the Raspberries in the 1970s, took her young son to see David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust tour, which he witnessed while sitting on the shoulders of a security guard. Snot is an American nu metal band from Santa Barbara, California. Formed in 1995, the band released their only studio album '' Get Some'' with founding vocalist Lynn Strait in 1997 and disbanded after his death in 1998. In 2008, the lineup of lead guitarist Mikey Doling, bassist John Fahnestock, drummer Jamie Miller and rhythm guitarist Sonny Mayo reunited. James Lynn Strait (August 7, 1968 – December 11, 1998) was an American singer and songwriter. He was the lead singer and lyricist for the nu metal band Snot (band), Snot. Biography Strait was born in New York City, but moved to Santa Barbara, California as a teen and immediately embraced the 'Southern California, SoCal' Punk subculture, punk scene. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) is a trade organization that represents the music recording industry in the United States.
