Angola Women's National Under-17 Handball Team
The Angola women's national handball team Under-17 represents Angola in international handball competitions and is controlled by the '' Federação Angolana de Andebol''. At continental level, it competes at the African Women's Youth Handball Championship which qualifies for the IHF Women's Youth World Championship. Angola has been a member of the IHF since 1979. The 2017 African Women's Youth Handball Championship was the 13th edition of the championship organised by the Ivory Coast Handball Federation under the auspices of the African Handball Confederation. 2022 Women's Youth World Handball Championship
The 2022 IHF Women's Youth World Championship was the ninth edition of the IHF Women's Youth World Championship, held from 30 July to 10 August 2022 in Skopje, North Macedonia under the aegis of the International Handball Federation (IHF). Originally scheduled to be held in Tbilisi, Georgia, it was moved to North Macedonia in April 2022 due to uncertainty because of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine and the safety of the tournament held in Georgia. 2020 Women's Youth World Handball Championship
The 2020 Women's Youth (U-18) World Handball Championship would have been the eighth edition of the championship to be held from 29 September to 11 October 2020 in Croatia under the aegis of International Handball Federation (IHF). It would have been the first time in history that the championship would have been organised by Croatian Handball Federation. The championship was originally scheduled to be held in China from 18 to 30 August 2020. But on 7 February 2020, the IHF decided to move the tournament to another country due to concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic.
