Anglican Diocese Of Ifo
The Anglican Diocese of Ifo is one of the 13 dioceses within the Anglican Province of Lagos, itself one of the 14 provinces within the Church of Nigeria. The pioneer bishop, the Rt. Rev'd J. Akin. Odejide retired in October 2012 and the current bishop is the Rt. Rev'd Nathaniel Oladejo Ogundipe. The Church of Nigeria is the Anglicanism, Anglican Church body, church in Nigeria. It is the second-largest Province (Anglican), province in the Anglican Communion, as measured by baptised membership (not by attendance), after the Church of England. it gives its membership as "over 18 million", out of a total Nigerian population of 190 million. It is "effectively the largest province in the Communion." As measured by active membership, the Church of Nigeria has nearly 2 million active baptised members.
