Groove Coverage
Groove Coverage is a German dance band which consists of Axel Konrad, DJ Novus, Melanie Munch, better known as Mell (lead singer), and Verena Rehm (former stage performer, backing singer, occasional lead singer). Producers of the band are Ole Wierk and Axel Konrad. The project was founded in the summer of 2001 by DJ Novus, in co-operation with Suprime Music (Konrad). With eleven singles in the German Top 50 and over 13 million records sold worldwide, Groove Coverage is one of the most successful German dance artists. "Innocent" is a single by British musician Mike Oldfield, released in 1989. It is from the album ''Earth Moving'' and features vocals from Anita Hegerland. Inspiration According to an interview Mike Oldfield and Anita Hegerland gave in the TV-program '' Good Morning Britain'', the song was inspired by their young daughter Greta; who also appears in the music video. In the program Oldfield and Hegerland gave an acoustic version of the song, Hegerland singing and Oldfield playing the guitar. "Think About the Way" is a single by German dance band Groove Coverage featuring vocals / rap from Rameez. The single was released digitally on March 16, 2012 in Germany as the third single from their fourth studio album ''Riot on the Dancefloor''. The song was written by Roberto Zanetti and produced by Axel Konrad, Ole Wierk, Verena Rehm. Adaptation Parts of the song including the refrain are taken from an earlier 1994 hit by British hip-house / eurodance artist Ice MC entitled "Think About the Way". The Ice MC dance hit had featured Alexia on vocals. The song had been an international hit for Ice MC (real name Ian Campbell) with top 10 appearances in Belgium, Italy and Switzerland, and top 20 showing in France, Germany, Netherlands and Sweden and made it to number 38 in the UK Top 40 charts. Die Flippers (The Flippers) were a German Schlager group formed in 1964. They were one of the most successful Schlager groups of all time, and have been constantly recording and releasing new music since their self-titled debut album was released in 1970. They have released 45 albums, 5 of which have gone platinum, 24 gold.
