Angela Zachepa
Angela Zachepa-Muluzi (born c. 1983) is a Malawian accountant and politician. She is the former Member of Parliament for Blantyre North East. In 2004, Zachepa was elected as a Member of Parliament in Malawi at age 21, making her the youngest Member of Parliament ever in Malawi and a baby of the house. She lost the seat in 2009 to Cecelia Chanzama, the results of which were being disputed and as Zachepa noted: “We want the truth and justice”. She has a bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Malawi, Polytechnic. She is married to Austin Muluzi. She is the daughter-in-law of former Malawian President Bakili Muluzi. University Of Malawi
The University of Malawi (UNIMA) is a public university established in 1965 and until 4 May 2021, when the university underwent a delinking, was composed of four constituent colleges located in Zomba, Blantyre, and Lilongwe. Of the four colleges, the largest is Chancellor College in Zomba (now the University of Malawi under Vice-Chancellor Professor Samson Sajidu). Austin Muluzi
Atupele Muluzi (born 6 August 1978) is a Malawian politician, businessman and was a Member of Parliament for Machinga North East constituency from 2004 until May 27, 2019. He is also the President of the United Democratic Front and was a presidential candidate during the 2019 election. He was a running mate in the 2020 presidential elections, on a coalition ticket with incumbent President Peter Mutharika of the Democratic Progressive Party. Muluzi was Minister of Natural Resources, Energy and Mining from 2014 to 2015 and the only opposition member to serve in the Mutharika administration. Bakili Muluzi
Elson Bakili Muluzi (born March 17, 1943 in Machinga, Nyasaland) is a Malawian politician who was the first freely elected president of Malawi from 1994 to 2004. He was also chairman of the United Democratic Front (UDF) until 2009. He succeeded Hastings Kamuzu Banda as Malawi's president. He also served in Banda's cabinet as minister without portfolio, before retiring in 1980. Presidency Muluzi was the candidate of the opposition UDF in the May 1994 presidential election, the country's first multiparty election. He won the election with 47% of the vote, defeating Malawi's leader since independence, Hastings Kamuzu Banda.
