Angel's Dream
''Angel's Dream'' () is a 15-episode Singaporean Mandarin drama television series aired on MediaCorp TV Channel 8 in 2000. The drama series revolves around a murder case and stars Ivy Lee, Terence Cao, Huang Biren and Apple Hong. It was the Best Drama Serial of the year and won Ivy Lee the Best Actress award at the Star Awards 2000. It is produced by MediaCorp's acclaimed producer, Kok Len Shoong. Plot Anqi was imprisoned for manslaughter. The victim was her husband Zi Wen. There were doubts as to whether she indeed killed him. The usual suspects - her long-time good friend Ye Ning who had a child with Zi Wen, Shi Sheng who was Anqi's partner in an illicit affair and the father of Anqi's daughter, a cop who wanted to kill Anqi. The actual solution is completely unexpected. Ivy Lee (Singapore Actress)
Ivy Lee (; born 16 July 1973) is a Singaporean former actress and host. She was prominently a full-time Mediacorp artiste from 1993 to 2007. Early life and career Lee graduated from Singapore Polytechnic with a Diploma in Biomedical in 1993. The same year, she joined TCS (predecessor of MediaCorp) after winning the biannual Star Search and clinching the "Miss Photogenic" title at the same contest. At the Star Awards 2006, Lee was awarded the Best Actress award for her role as a lawyer in the drama serial ''Family Matters''. Star Awards 2000 is the eighth installment of the annual Star Awards presented by the Television Corporation of Singapore to honour its artistes who work on Channel 8. The ceremony were hosted by Timothy Chao and Yvette Tsui. The award ceremony saw numerous changes in the award ceremony, with the Taiwan popularity votes being discontinued and were solely decided by the Malaysia viewers alone, new categories were introduced (such as the Best News/Current Affairs Presenter, now as two separate categories), and nominations for both Primetime and Daytime programs were merged. Terence Cao
Terence Cao Guohui (born 6 October 1967) is a Singaporean television actor. Biography Cao studied at Anglo-Chinese School for both his primary and secondary education. Cao used to be a flight attendant and joined Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (later MediaCorp) in 1989 after completing the 9th drama training course. Apart from acting in several Channel 8 television drama series, Cao has also performed the theme songs for some of the series he starred in and has also acted in some television films. In 2011, he clinched the ''Best Supporting Actor'' in the Star Awards 2011. Cao has gotten 7 out of 10 Top 10 Most Popular Male Artistes from 1994, 1998–2001, 2004–2005 respectively.
