Angara
The Angara ( Buryat and mn, Ангар, ''Angar'', "Cleft"; russian: Ангара́, ''Angará'') is a major river in Siberia, which traces a course through Russia's Irkutsk Oblast and Krasnoyarsk Krai. It drains out of Lake Baikal and is the headwater tributary of the Yenisey. It is long, and has a drainage basin of . It was formerly known as the Lower or Nizhnyaya Angara (distinguishing it from the Upper Angara). Below its junction with the Ilim, it was formerly known as the Upper Tunguska (russian: Верхняя Тунгуска, ''Verkhnyaya Tunguska'', distinguishing it from the Lower Tunguska) and, with the names reversed, as the Lower Tunguska. Course Leaving Lake Baikal near the settlement of Listvyanka, the Angara flows north past the Irkutsk Oblast cities of Irkutsk, Angarsk, Bratsk, and Ust-Ilimsk. JSC Angara Airlines (russian: ЗАО «Авиакомпания «Ангара») is an airline based in Irkutsk, Russia. Overview Established in 2000, it operates on behalf of its owner, the Irkut Corporation aircraft repair factory out of Irkutsk International Airport. With base airports in Irkutsk and Novosibirsk, Angara Airlines operates scheduled flights in the Siberian region and to other regions in the Russian Federation, and topping it off with one international connection, to Manzhouli, China. Besides the scheduled flights, Angara Airlines also offers charter transportation, VIP transportation and freight and mail services. In July 2017, it was announced that the airline had signed a letter of intent for 3 Irkut MC-21-300s at the MAKS Air Show in Moscow. The Angara rocket family (Russian: Ангара) is a family of launch vehicles being developed by the Moscow-based Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center. The launch vehicles are to put between and into low Earth orbit and are intended, along with Soyuz-2 variants, to replace several existing launch vehicles. History After the dissolution of the Soviet Union, many formerly Soviet launch vehicles were built in or required components from companies now located in Ukraine, such as Yuzhnoye Design Bureau, which produced Zenit-2, and Yuzhmash, which produced Dnepr and Tsyklon. Additionally, the Soviet Union's main spaceport, Baikonur Cosmodrome, was located in Kazakhstan, and Russia encountered difficulties negotiating for its use. Tulsi Comics was an Indian comics publisher in the late 1980s, 1990s and early 2000s, and was a division of Tulsi Pocket Books - founded by Indian writer and author Ved Prakash Sharma. History Backed by Tulsi Pocket Books, a popular publishers of Hindi novels in India, and backed by an established and vast customer base of the novels, Tulsi comics shut down in 2004, but after creating some of India's most famous and cherished superheroes. Another reason for Tulsi Comics failure was that they produced story arcs in a minimum of 2–3 parts, and they never usually gave a complete story in a single issue. Since most of the comic readers in India are children who had limited pocket money, this practice ultimately backfired, and it lost popularity among its reader base.
