Ang Zhiwei
Ang Zhiwei is a Singaporean footballer who plays in the S.League for Warriors FC. He started his career as an attacking midfielder but now plays as a defender. Club career He started to focus on football after rejection from his school's basketball team due to his height. Ang started off as a player in the Prime League until he came to prominence in the 2009 S.League season. At that time, he took a part of the Geylang United squad which overcame reigning Singapore Cup champions, Bangkok Glass, to capture the Singapore Cup. His performance also led to being selected for the Singapore national football team, Singapore Under-21 National Team. As he was conscripted for Conscription in Singapore, National Service in 2010, his professional footballing career came to a standstill. Woodlands Wellington Football Club is an inactive professional association football, football club which played in the S.League, the top division of football in Singapore. They are based in Woodlands, Singapore, Woodlands at the 4,300 seater Woodlands Stadium, where they have played since their establishment. Woodlands Wellington FC's honours include winning the inaugural Singapore League Cup in 2007, defeating Sengkang Punggol FC 4–0 in the final. The 2013 S.League season is Woodlands Wellington's 18th competitive and consecutive season in the top flight of Singapore football and 26th year in existence as a football club. Singapore League Cup
The Singapore League Cup was an annual soccer competition in Singapore. It was launched in 2007, and was open to teams who play in the S.League. The 2007 competition was sponsored by SingTel, and officially titled the SingTel League Cup. Eight of the twelve S.League teams took part in the 2007 tournament, which was held before the start of the S.League season proper. In 2008, the competition's official sponsored name was the Avaya-J&J League Cup (with sponsorship coming from Avaya and Jebsen & Jessen Communications). All twelve S.League teams took part in the 2008 tournament. Unlike the 2007 event, the 2008 competition was held during the S.League season. The 2009 edition of the League Cup was held from 1 to 19 June, again during the S.League season. The competition began with a group stage, where the clubs were divided into four groups of three. Yazid Yasin
Yazid Yasin is a retired Singapore footballer who played most of his career in S.League He is one of a rare handful of players who had won every single title available in the domestic league since its inauguration in 1996. Club career As a youth player, Yazid first came to prominence in the 1995 Lion City Cup where he stood in goal for eventual winners, the Singapore A (Under-16) squad, alongside Indra Sahdan and Ahmad Latiff Khamaruddin. His level headed performance as a 16-year-old in the competition led to him signing his first professional contract with Sembawang Rangers in the S.League's maiden season in 1996. Bedok Stadium is a football stadium located in Bedok, Singapore. The stadium is open daily from 4:30am till 8:30pm to the public, unless it is exclusively booked. The stadium is managed by Sport Singapore. It was the home ground for Geylang International FC till 2019. Facilities & Structures The stadium has a seating capacity of 3,964 people. Shahril Alias
Muhammad Shahril bin Mohamad Alias (born 14 May 1984) is a professional football player who plays for the Woodlands Wellington in the S.League. He is a natural centre-back, though he can also play as a defensive midfielder or a right back. Club career Shahril has previously played for S.League clubs Woodlands Wellington, Young Lions, Home United and Hougang United FC. In 2011, Shahril was transferred to Hougang United FC, replacing Fumiya Kobayashi at the centre back role.
