Ane Trolle
Ane Trolle (born 1979) is a Danish singer and songwriter. She contributes notably on Trentemøller's album '' The Last Resort'' where she provides vocals for the song "Moan". Trolle is known for her collaborations with other artists. Besides Trentemøller, she joined Peder for his song "White Lillies", which featured on Hôtel Costes, Vol. 10, a compilation CD mixed by French DJ Stéphane Pompougnac. Trolle also joined forces with fellow Copenhagen artist Pato Siebenhaar for “Sweet Dogs” which they released under the name Trolle//Siebenhaar. Ane’s textured and urban voice glides above a weathered reggae production. Along with Tim Myers, she performed in a duo called Lucy & the Cloud Parade who released an album called "Cloud 9". Palle Mikkelborg
Palle Mikkelborg (born 6 March 1941) is a Danish jazz trumpet player, composer, arranger and record producer. He is self-taught on the trumpet, although he studied conducting at the Royal Music Conservatory in Copenhagen. He became a professional musician in 1960 and joined the Danish Radiojazzgruppen three years later. Mikkelborg became their leader in 1967 and retained that position until 1972. In addition, he was a member of the Radioens Big Band over a similar time frame. He played trumpet in both, but also wrote, arranged, and conducted both. Forming a jazz quintet with drummer, Alex Riel they performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival and Newport Jazz Festival (1968). He later led an octet, V8, in the 1970s, and another outfit, Entrance, from the mid-1970s until 1985. His composition were made for various ensembles, including extended pieces for larger outfits. Ultratop is an organization which generates and publishes the official record charts in Belgium. Ultratop is a non-profit organization, created on the initiative of the Belgian Entertainment Association (BEA), the Belgian member organization of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry. Jørgen Leth (; born 14 June 1937) is a Danish poet and film director who is considered a leading figure in experimental documentary film making. Most notable are his documentary ''A Sunday in Hell'' (1977) and his surrealistic short film ''The Perfect Human'' (1968). He is also a sports commentator for Danish television and is represented by the film production company Sunset Productions. Early life Born on 14 June 1937 in Aarhus, Denmark, Leth studied literature and anthropology in Aarhus and Copenhagen and was a cultural critic (jazz, theatre, film) for leading Danish newspapers from 1959 to 1968. Bornholm
Bornholm () is a Danish island in the Baltic Sea, to the east of the rest of Denmark, south of Sweden, northeast of Germany and north of Poland. Strategically located, Bornholm has been fought over for centuries. It has usually been ruled by Denmark, but also by Sweden and by Lübeck. Anders Trentemøller (; born 16 October 1972) is a Danish indie/electronic music composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist based in Copenhagen, Denmark. History Trentemøller started music in the late 1990s with different indie rock projects. In 2006, following a line of more electronic-orientated 12-inch EPs, Trentemøller released his debut album, '' The Last Resort''. In 2007 he assembled his first full live band, with Henrik Vibskov on drums and Mikael Simpson on guitar. Complete with visuals from director Karim Ghahwagi, the ensuing ‘Trentemøller: Live In Concert’ tour brought him to the United States for the first time as well as to festivals including Glastonbury (UK), Roskilde (Denmark) and Melt!
