Andy Reid
Andrew Walter Reid (born March 19, 1958) is an American football coach who is the head coach for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). Reid was previously head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles from 1999 to 2012. From 2001 to 2012, he was also the Eagles' executive vice president of football operations becoming the general manager. He is the only NFL coach to win 100 games and appear in four consecutive conference championships with two different franchises. Reid began his professional coaching career with the Green Bay Packers, where he served as an offensive assistant from 1992 to 1998 and won a Super Bowl title in Super Bowl XXXI. He held his first head coaching position with the Eagles in 1999, who became perennial postseason contenders under his leadership. Reid led the Eagles to nine playoff runs, six division titles, five NFC Championship Games (including four consecutive from 2001 to 2004), and an appearance in Super Bowl XXXIX. Andy Reid (Irish Footballer)
Andrew Matthew Reid (born 29 July 1982) is an Irish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He turned professional in August 1999 making his debut for Nottingham Forest on 29 November 2000 against Sheffield United. Reid moved from Forest to Tottenham in 2005, then to Charlton Athletic in 2006, Sunderland in 2008 and Blackpool in 2011. In July 2011 he signed a two-year deal back at Nottingham Forest. He has also represented the Republic of Ireland internationally. Personal life Reid was born in Crumlin, Dublin, Ireland. He went to school at Synge Street CBS, Dublin. Football was in his blood as his father Bill played for St Patrick's Athletic and his uncle Victor played for Shelbourne. Andrew Stephen Reid (born 2 March 1954) is a British lawyer, horse racing trainer and former treasurer of the UK Independence Party. Legal career He was educated at University College School and University College London (LLB). He was a founder of RMPI LLP (formerly Reid Minty) where he remains a senior partner. He has been a Deputy High Court Costs Judge (formerly Deputy Supreme Court Taxing Master) since 1991; a Deputy District Judge of the Principal Registry of the Family Division since 2001, and of the South Eastern Circuit since 2002, and Deputy Adjudicator of HM Land Registry since 2007. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He acted for Lord McAlpine and won damages of £185,000 from the BBC and £125,000 from ITV in relation to false claims relating to child abuse. Andrew Reid (born 15 March 1994) is a British motorcycle racer. In 2010 he participated for the first time in a 125cc World Championship event, as a wild-card rider in the British round at Silverstone but failed to qualify for the race. Andrew Reid (died c. 1767) was a Scottish writer. Life Reid moved to London, probably about 1720, and interested himself in literary and scientific subjects. In 1728, he launched ''The Present State of the Republick of Letters'', a periodical which he edited until 1736, when it ceased; two volumes appeared each year. An influence on the publication was the earlier editor Michel de La Roche. Reid attended James Thomson in his last illness, in 1748. It is presumed that he died in 1767. Works In 1732, Reid published an abridgment of Isaac Newton's ''The Chronology of Ancient Kingdoms Amended'', of which another edition appeared at Dublin in 1782. In 1733, in with John Gray, he edited an ''Abridgment'' of the ''Philosophical Transactions'' from 1720 to 1732; it was published in 2 vols.
