Anthony Robert Martin-Trigona, usually known as Andy Martin (born 1945), is an American perennial candidate who has never been elected to office, running as both a Democrat and a Republican. He has filed over 250 political lawsuits nationwide. In Connecticut, a federal judge once banned Martin from filing lawsuits in any court in the nation without a judge's permission. Andrew Peter Martin (born 28 February 1980) is a retired Welsh footballer. He is a former Welsh Under-21 international and played in the Football League for Crystal Palace, Torquay United and Hereford United before dropping into non-league football. He was manager of Isthmian League side Merstham between 2011 and 2012. Career Martin was educated at Corpus Christi High School in Cardiff. He was a proficient sportsman who excelled in basketball and track and field, and captained the school's Rugby team (which also included future Newport RFC prop Dai Pattison (highly successful rugby player) and Telford Tigers' ice hockey forward Joe Miller) to the final of the Welsh National Schools Competition in May 1996. Andy Martin is a musician, lyricist and writer who lives in London. The 1980s During the 1980s, he was the singer, lyricist and occasionally drummer for The Apostles, a group that was founded in 1979 by four North London schoolboys, William 'Bill' Corbett, Julian Portinari, Dan Macintyre and Pete Byng-Hall and played a prominent part in the anarcho-punk scene in London. Some of the band's recordings appeared on the record label Mortarhate run by the group Conflict; other recordings, many on cassette, were released by The Apostles themselves. Members of the group published their own zine called ''Scum'', and the Anarchist ''Precautions essentialles pour la bonne''. He is a member of Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band and was the featured soloist with Bill Holman big band for 15 years and has been in Tom Kubis' big band since its inception. Career In addition to being a top jazz soloist, Martin has played in over 350 major motion pictures, including the trombone solo in the opening credits of ''Monsters, Inc.''and played the trombone solos in the movie ''La La Land'' and ''The Secret Life of Pets''.
