André De Quadros
André de Quadros is a conductor, ethnomusicologist, music educator, and human rights activist. Early life André de Quadros grew up in Bombay, India, in a Goan Catholic family. His father, Pedro António de Quadros, had grown up in Raia, Goa and then moved to British India to study medicine. His mother, Jean Anne Lourdes Coelho, was born in Calcutta and grew up in Lahore. Her family had moved to Punjab because her father had bought a general store, E. Plomer & Co. Quadros has two siblings: an older sister named Marise, and a younger sister named Claudia. He started studying the violin at the age of four with Adrian de Mello. Education de Quadros attended Campion School, Mumbai, where he finished his secondary education in 1969. Carl Orff (; 10 July 1895 – 29 March 1982) was a German composer and music educator, best known for his cantata ''Carmina Burana'' (1937). The Victorian Certificate of Education (often abbreviated VCE) is one credential available to secondary school students who successfully complete year 11 and 12 in the Australian state of Victoria. The VCE is the predominant choice for students wishing to pursue tertiary education. An alternative to VCE is the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL), a vocational based senior secondary school qualification. About 67% of all 19-year-olds in Victoria had completed the VCE in 2020, compared to about 11% of students completing the VCAL (a very small group completed both).
