Andriy Anatoliyovych Gordeev (Ukrainian: Андрій Анатолійович Гордєєв; born on June 13, 1983, Nadiivka Village Chaplynka Raion, Kherson Oblast) is a Ukrainian politician, people's deputy of Ukraine of the VIIIth convocation, who was the Head of Kherson Oblast State Administration from April 2016 until April 2019. The Governor of Kherson Oblast is the head of executive branch for the Kherson Oblast in Ukraine. Kateryna Handziuk
Kateryna Viktorivna Handziuk ( uk, Катерина Вікторівна Гандзюк; 17 June 1985 – 4 November 2018) was a Ukrainian civil rights and anti-corruption activist campaigner and political advisor, who exposed corruption in her hometown of Kherson. She was attacked with sulphuric acid on 31 July 2018, and died from her injuries on 4 November 2018. Education and career Handziuk was born on 17 June 1985 in Kherson (then a city in the Ukrainian SSR of the USSR, now Ukraine). Handziuk studied at the State University of Kherson between 2002 and 2006. She graduated in 2008 from the National Economic University in Kyiv and 2016 from the National Academy of Public Administration in Kyiv. 2019 Ukrainian Presidential Election
The 2019 Ukrainian presidential election was held on 31 March and 21 April in a two-round system. There were 39 candidates for the election on the ballot. The 2014 annexation of Crimea by Russia and the occupation of parts of Donetsk Oblast and Luhansk Oblast prevented around 12% of eligible voters from participating in the election. As no candidate received an absolute majority of the vote, a second round was held between the top two candidates, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, a comedian who portrayed a fictional president of Ukraine in the comedy television series ''Servant of the People'', and the incumbent president, Petro Poroshenko, on 21 April 2019.
