Andrew Jackson Turner (September 24, 1832June 10, 1905) was an Americans, American politician, newspaper editor, and businessman. He served 4 years in the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing western Columbia County, Wisconsin, Columbia County, and was the 2nd Office of the Commissioner of Railroads, Wisconsin Railroad Commissioner. In contemporaneous documents, his name was almost always abbreviated as A. J. Turner. He also sometimes went by the nickname "Jack Turner". Biography Born in Schuyler Falls, New York, he moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 1855 and then settled in Portage, Wisconsin, in 1857. He was co-editor of the ''Portage City Record'', which later merged with the ''Portage Wisconsin State Register''. Andrew John Turner (born 24 October 1953) is a British politician who served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Isle of Wight from 2001 to 2017. A member of the Conservative Party, he served as its vice-chairman from 2003 until 2005. Born in Coventry, Turner was educated at Rugby School and Keble College, Oxford. He stood unsuccessfully as the Conservative candidate for both the Hackney South and Shoreditch constituency in the 1992 general election and for the Birmingham East constituency in the 1994 European Parliamentary election. Turner was elected MP for the Isle of Wight in the 2001 general election. He attracted press attention and criticism during the parliamentary expenses scandal of 2009. Andrew Peter Turner (born 23 March 1975) is a football coach and former professional football player and manager. Born in England, he represented Ireland at youth level. A pacey winger, he began his career at Tottenham Hotspur, setting a Premier League record as the division's youngest-ever goalscorer in September 1992. However he lost his first-team place and was sent out on loan to Wycombe Wanderers, Doncaster Rovers, Huddersfield Town and Southend United. He was sold on to Portsmouth for a £250,000 fee in September 1996. Andrew Steven Turner (born 19 September 1980) is an English bodybuilder and retired track and field athlete who specialised in the 110 metres hurdles and occasionally competed in the 100 and 200 metres sprints as well as long jump.
