Andrew Scott (Northern Irish Footballer)
Andrew Darren Scott (born 19 June 2000) is a Northern Irish professional footballer who plays as a winger for NIFL Premiership side Coleraine. Early and personal life Scott is from Castlederg, and was born in the town. Club career After playing for the Maiden City Soccer Academy in Derry, he signed a three-year contract with English club Accrington Stanley in August 2018 following a trial. In December 2018 he joined Stalybridge Celtic on loan for a month. He scored on his debut for the club on 8 December 2018. On 19 January 2019, he was loaned out to the club again. In December 2019 he joined Curzon Ashton on loan for a month. In February 2020 he joined Radcliffe on loan. In June 2020 it was announced he would leave Accrington on 30 June when his contract expired. In August 2020 he signed for Larne. Castlederg
Castlederg (earlier Caslanadergy, ) is a town in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It lies on the River Derg and is near the border with County Donegal, Ireland. It stands in the townlands of Castlesessagh and Churchtown, in the historic barony of Omagh West and the civil parish of Urney. The village has a ruined castle and two ancient tombs known as the Druid's Altar and Todd's Den. It had a population of 2,976 people at the 2011 Census. County Antrim Shield
The County Antrim & District Football Association Senior Shield (more commonly known as the County Antrim Shield) is a football competition in Northern Ireland. The competition is open to senior teams who are members of the North East Ulster Football Association (also known as the County Antrim & District Football Association) (membership of which extends geographically beyond County Antrim itself), often plus intermediate teams who qualify via the Steel & Sons Cup, depending on the numbers required. For the 2010–11 and 2011-12 seasons, only the winners took part. The current Shield champions are Larne, who beat Linfield 1–0 in the 2021–22 final, winning the trophy for a second successive year. During the later 1980s and early 1990s, the North East Ulster F.A. invited senior clubs from outside its jurisdiction to participate.
