Andrew Lang (Minnesota Politician)
Andrew R. Lang is an American politician and Republican member of the Minnesota Senate. He represents District 17, which includes portions of Chippewa, Kandiyohi, Renville, and Swift Counties in west-central Minnesota. Lang is a major in the Minnesota Army National Guard. Early life, education, and career Lang grew up in Kandiyohi, Minnesota, and graduated from Willmar High School in 1997. He attended Ridgewater College before transferring to St. Cloud State University, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in aviation science and management. Lang joined the Minnesota Army National Guard in 2002 and became a commissioned officer in 2003. He was stationed in Balad, Iraq, from April 2007 to August 2008. Lyle Koenen
Lyle J. Koenen (born June 16, 1956) is a Minnesota politician and former member of the Minnesota Senate. A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL), he represented District 17, which included portions of Chippewa, Kandiyohi, Renville, and Swift counties in the southwestern part of the state. Early life, education, and career Koenen attended Maynard High School in Maynard, then Willmar Technical College in Willmar, earning his A.A. in agriculture. He has worked as a dairy farmer and was also a milk truck and school bus driver. He has co-chaired the Chippewa County National Farmers Union since 1996. Minnesota House of Representatives Koenen was first elected in 2002, and was reelected four times. The Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL) is the Minnesota affiliate of the U.S. Democratic Party. As of 2022, it controls four of Minnesota's eight U.S. House seats, both of its U.S. Senate seats, the Minnesota House of Representatives, and all other statewide offices, including the governorship. Beginning in 2023, the party will also control the Minnesota Senate, giving it full control of state government. The 2016 Minnesota Senate election was held in the U.S. state of Minnesota on November 8, 2016, to elect members to the Senate of the 90th and 91st Minnesota Legislatures. North Memorial Health Hospital, sometimes referred to as North Memorial, is a 353-bed community hospital located in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. It is one of four Level I trauma centers in Minnesota. It is also a Level II trauma center for pediatrics. Foundation In 1939, Dr. Samuel Samuelson started Victory Hospital on property that he already owned in Robbinsdale. It was the only medical center outside of the downtown Minneapolis/St.Paul area. The Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk is a four-blade, twin-engine, medium-lift Utility helicopter, utility military helicopter manufactured by Sikorsky Aircraft.
