Andrew Ananias Harris (July 27, 1896 – October 2, 1957) was an American Negro league infielder and manager between 1917 and 1927. A native of St. Helena, North Carolina, Harris made his Negro leagues debut in 1917 with the Hilldale Club. He played for the Pennsylvania Red Caps of New York in 1920, and was back with Hilldale in 1922. In 1926, Harris served as player–manager of the Newark Stars in the franchise's lone season in the Eastern Colored League. He finished his playing career with the Lincoln Giants in 1927. Andrew Harris (born 17 November 1970) is an English former professional footballer who made 40 appearances in the Football League playing for Birmingham City, Oxford United and Exeter City. He played as a midfielder. Life and career Harris was born in Birmingham. He joined Birmingham City as an apprentice under the YTS scheme, and turned professional two years later. He made his debut on 11 November 1989, substituting for John Frain in a goalless draw at Leyton Orient in the Football League Third Division. In March 1990, he signed on loan for Telford United, and scored once from six appearances in the Football Conference. He went on loan in October 1991 to Oxford United of the Second Division, where he played only once, and the following month was allowed to move to Exeter City. A right-arm medium-pace bowler and a right-handed batsman, Harris made more than 120 appearances, taking over 400 wickets at an average of just over 31. Biography Born 26 June 1973 in Ashton-under-Lyne, Lancashire, Harris turned professional in 1993, making his first-class and List A debuts for Derbyshire County Cricket Club that summer. Andrew David Douglas Harris (born 26 February 1977) is a former footballer who spent his whole playing career in England. He previously played in The Football League for Southend United, Leyton Orient and Chester City, he is also a firm fans favourite at former conference side Weymouth, where during their title winning season he scored a memorable second half equaliser against Nottingham Forest at The City Ground. Andrew Harris (born April 24, 1987) is a Canadian professional Canadian football running back for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Harris is a four-time Grey Cup champion, two-time winner of the Grey Cup Most Valuable Canadian and one-time Grey Cup Most Valuable Player, as well as a five-time CFL All-Star and a six-time CFL West All-Star. He was the winner of the junior doubles titles at the 2012 Wimbledon Championships and the Roland Garros Junior French Championship. The district includes the entire Eastern Shore, as well as several eastern exurbs of Baltimore. He is currently the only Republican member of Maryland's congressional delegation. Andrew Michael Harris (29 September 1964 – 10 May 1996) was a New Zealand mountain guide who died in the 1996 Mount Everest disaster. Harris was one of the guides for the Adventure Consultants' 1996 Everest expedition, led by Rob Hall. It was Harris's first attempt to summit Mount Everest, though he had extensive climbing experience in New Zealand. Biography At the time of his death, Harris was survived by his parents Ron and Marry Harris, his older brother David Harris, and his physician girlfriend Fiona McPherson. He was living with McPherson and in the process of building a house with her in the hills outside Queenstown.
