Andrew Ellis is a London-based football and property entrepreneur. The founder and director of successful commercial and residential estate agency Wilton Estates with successful developments in Zanzibar and Portugal, among others, Andrew currently sits on the board of Glasgow Rangers, is a former Director of QPR and was formerly Chairman of Northampton Town. Football In 2001, Ellis, was linked with a £9m takeover of Queens Park Rangers FC. Ellis' father, Peter Ellis, was QPR chairman during the mid-1990s. 2002 saw an Ellis-led consortium pay £500,000 for troubled Northampton Town FC, which was otherwise headed for liquidation. Andrew Malcolm Ellis (born 24 March 1982) is a New Zealand former international cricketer, who played in One Day Internationals (ODIs) and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). In first-class cricket, Ellis played 26 State Championship games for Canterbury, up to the end of the 2006/7 season. Ellis retired from all forms of cricket in March 2020. He was the second New Zealand cricketer to play 100 or more matches in each format of the game. Domestic career A right-handed batsman and right arm fast medium bowler, he made his debut in 2003 against Auckland. He has scored 910 first class runs at an average of 26.76, with a top score of 78 against Northern Districts. He has also taken 32 wickets at 43.68 with a best analysis of 5 for 63 against Otago. Andrew Ellis (born 21 February 1984) is a New Zealand rugby union player who plays the position of scrum-half for Rugby New York in Major League Rugby (MLR). He previously played for the Kobelco Steelers in Japan, the Crusaders in Super Rugby and Canterbury in provincial rugby. Career In 2005 Ellis played in the New Zealand under-21 side. His Super 14 rookie year saw him oust All Black Kevin Senio from the Crusaders starting line-up. Ellis missed the 2006 Super 14 Final after sustaining a knee injury in the semi-final against the Bulls. He is formerly of the Featherstone Rovers in the Kingstone Press Championship, and the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats in the Super League competition. ''This Is England'' is a 2006 British drama film written and directed by Shane Meadows. The story centres on young skinheads in England in 1983. Over the next ten years the league saw continual expansion, with at least one new team joining every season, reaching 24 teams divided into two conferences in its final season in 2015–16. Turkish Airlines was the major sponsor of the 2014–15 and 2015–16 seasons. The bj league operated on the American sports franchise system. ASG is an American stoner metal band signed to Relapse Records, originating from Wilmington, North Carolina. It is a four-piece band, with Jason Shi on vocals and guitar, Andy Ellis on bass, Scott Key on drums and Jonah Citty on guitar. The band has acquired an underground following, as a number of its songs have been featured in skateboarding, surfing, and snowboarding videos. Band ASG started with the name All Systems Go in 2001, but shortened to the acronym ASG after a brief copyright issue with another band of the same name. Through the years the band has claimed in jest that 'ASG' has several alternate meanings, including "amplification of self gratification", "all systems gone", "anarchist school for girls" among others.
