Andrei Bolocan
Andrei Bolocan (born July 17, 1987, Chișinău, USSR) is a Moldovan television personality and stand-up comedian. Biography Bolocan graduated the Mircea Eliade Lyceum in his hometown, Chișinău. He then studied at the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, followed by a German university (where he followed a Philosophy degree), and finally a university in Romania – without graduating any. He started his career in entertainment by briefly working at a radio station, then entered the television business when he joined Jurnal TV in 2010. Bolocan gained popularity as a co-host of "Sare și Piper" ("Salt & Pepper"), "Ministerul Adevărului" ("Ministry of Truth"), "Deșteptarea" ("Wake Up"), as well as other media projects. Bolocan currently hosts and produces his own show "Lumina" ("The Light"). Initially streamed over the internet, the show was included in TV8's schedule in September 2017. Chișinău
Chișinău ( , , ), also known as Kishinev (russian: Кишинёв, r=Kishinjóv ), is the Capital city, capital and largest city of the Republic of Moldova. The city is Moldova's main industrial and commercial center, and is located in the middle of the country, on the river Bîc River, Bâc, a tributary of the Dniester. The Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic ( ro, Republica Sovietică Socialistă Moldovenească, Moldovan Cyrillic: ) was one of the 15 republics of the Soviet Union which existed from 1940 to 1991. Moldovans, sometimes referred to as Moldavians ( ro, moldoveni , Moldovan Cyrillic: молдовень), are a Romance-speaking ethnic group and the largest ethnic group of the Republic of Moldova (75.1% of the population as of 2014) and a significant minority in Ukraine and Russia. Bessarabia, Transnistria and the diaspora originating from these regions, self-identified as Moldovans (another 7% of the population of Moldova self-identified as Romanians). TV8 (Moldova)
TV8 (formerly TV7) is a nonprofit television network based in Chișinău, Moldova. It is owned by the Public Association “Media Alternativa”, whose executive director is Natalia Morari. TV8 uses a programming strategy of international movies and tv shows, as well as local talk shows and news broadcasting. In 2017 the then owner of the channel, Chiril Lucinschi, transferred his ownership to "Media Alternativa". After the transfer, TV7 rebranded to TV8. Nata Albot
Nata Albot (born 26 October 1979 in Chișinău) is a blogger, TV producer, journalist and a media manager from Moldova. She has had several popular shows on radio and televisions in Moldova since she was 16 years old. She graduated from the Law School of Moldova State University. Nata Albot served as the general producer of Jurnal TV from March 2010 until July 2013. She also worked as the director of Radio Pro FM Chișinău, reporter for Pro TV, Director of TV reality talent show "Star Academy" at Prime TV. Also, as a freelancer, has produced the TV series "Aventura Americană" about Moldovan students summers spent with work and travel in the United States.
