''And the Plains Are Gleaming'' (german: ...und es leuchtet die Puszta) is a 1933 German-Hungarian drama film directed by Heinz Hille and starring Rosy Barsony, Károly Sugar and Wolf Albach-Retty.Salwolke p. 322 It was shot at the Hunnia Studios in Budapest. The film's sets were designed by the art directors Herbert Lippschitz and Márton Vincze.A separate Hungarian-language version ''The Old Scoundrel'' was also made. Olga Limburg (5 April 1881 – 7 March 1970) was a German theater and film actress. She began her artistic career in 1901 with a commitment at the Municipal Theatre of Poznan. Hansi Arnstaedt (8 December 1878 – 8 May 1945) was a German film actress. Her role subject was that of the frisky and naive, later she was seen in character roles. In 1913, she was given the role of the title character in Franz Porten's three-part film biography about Queen Luise. After that, she did not appear in films again until 1930.
