Overview The song realistically recounts in dialogue form the meeting of two ex-lovers and the rekindling of their passion. It was composed during a journey in the United States, while travelling in a car on Interstate 5, and had the working title "San Diego Freeway". Lucio Battisti (5 March 1943 – 9 September 1998) was an influential Italian singer-songwriter and composer. He is widely recognized for songs that defined the late 1960s and 1970s era of Italian songwriting. Battisti released 18 studio albums from 1969 to 1994, with a significant portion of this catalogue translated into Spanish (various albums), English (one album), French (two albums), and German (one album). He was known to be an extremely reserved artist, performing only a small number of live concerts during his career. WhoSampled is a website and app database of information about sampled music or sample-based music, cover songs and remixes. History Nadav Poraz founded the site in London, England in 2008, as a way to track musical samples and cover songs. Mobile apps were released in 2012 and 2014 for iPhone and Android, respectively. The website's database is user-generated and reviewed by moderators before the content goes live. As of 2022, the site's most sampled track is the Amen break from the Winstons. Jacopo D'Amico, (born November 29, 1980), known professionally by his stage name Dargen D'Amico, is an Italian singer, rapper, songwriter, record producer and disc jockey. He started his career in 1997, as member of the rap group "Sacre Scuole", with Gué Pequeno and Jake La Furia.
