Ancienville () is a commune in the department of Aisne in the Hauts-de-France region of northern France. Geography Ancienville is located some 10 km east by southeast of Villers-Cotterets and 25 km southwest of Soissons. The commune can be accessed by the D973 road from Villers-Cotterets in the northwest continuing west through the heart of the commune north of the village to Chouy. The D1370 runs south from the D973 and passes through the village continuing south to Noroy-sur-Ourcq. The commune is partly farmland with forests in an arc from the southwest to the northeast. La Savieres river flows south forming the western border of the commune and continues to join the Ourcq river near Silly-la-Poterie. Puducherry (), also known as Pondicherry () or Pondichéry, is a union territory of India, consisting of four small geographically unconnected districts. Marquis De Bussy-Castelnau
Charles Joseph Patissier, Marquis de Bussy-Castelnau (8 February 1718 or 8 February 1720 – 7 January 1785) or Charles Joseph Patissier de Bussy was the Governor General of the French colony of Pondicherry from 1783 to 1785. He served with distinction under Joseph François Dupleix in the East Indies, receiving the Order of Saint Louis. He contributed to the recovery from Britain of Pondicherry in 1748, and was named in 1782 to lead all French military forces beyond the Cape of Good Hope. He coordinated his operations with Pierre André de Suffren and fought against the British during the Indian campaigns of the American War of Independence. Stole (vestment)
The stole is a liturgical vestment of various Christian denominations, which symbolizes priestly authority; in Protestant denominations which do not have priests but use stoles as a liturgical vestment, however, it symbolizes being a member of the ordained. Maniple (vestment)
The maniple is a liturgical vestment used primarily within the Catholic Church, and occasionally used by some Anglo-Catholic and Lutheran clergy. It is an embroidered band of silk or similar fabric that is hung over the left arm. It is only used within the context of the Mass, and it is of the same liturgical colour as the other Mass vestments. The purpose of the maniple is uncertain, but it probably originated as a cloth the priest could use to wipe his hands and face. Current use In its 1967 instruction, ''Tres abhinc annos'', issued while the Tridentine Mass was still the only form used in the Roman Rite, the Sacred Congregation of Rites removed the obligation to use the maniple at Mass. Chasuble
The chasuble () is the outermost liturgical vestment worn by clergy for the celebration of the Eucharist in Western-tradition Christian churches that use full vestments, primarily in Roman Catholic, Anglican, and Lutheran churches. In the Eastern Orthodox Churches and in the Eastern Catholic Churches, the equivalent vestment is the phelonion.
