Ana Cristina Botero
Ana Cristina Botero Cadavid (born in Medellín in 1968), is a Colombian actress, mainly active in the world of television, but also with participation in some Colombian plays and films. Career Ana Cristina is the daughter of actor, librettist and director Jaime Botero Gómez, niece of actress Dora Cadavid and sister of actors Óscar and María Cecilia Botero. She debuted on television when she was very young in the telenovela ''Lejos del Nido'', starring her sister, María Cecilia and directed by her father, Jaime. After remaining active in the theater, she returned to television in 1987 to join the cast of the soap opera ''Destinos Cruzados'', a production starring her sister again. Two years later, she appeared in the series ''Los Dueños del Poder'', along with Luis Eduardo Arango, Víctor Mallarino and her sister María Cecilia. Dora Cadavid (23 November 1937 – 31 January 2022) was a Colombian actress, singer and announcer. Cadavid participated in over 45 television and theatre productions, making her debut at the age of ten in the play ''Doña Inés vuelve al convento''. With 60 years of career, her most famous performance was probably in Fernando Gaitán's successful soap opera, ''Yo soy Betty, la fea''. Career Beginnings Cadavid started her career as a declamator for ''La voz de Antioquia'', a local radio show. María Cecilia Botero Cadavid (born 13 May 1955) is a Colombian actress, television presenter and journalist. Biography Beginnings She studied anthropology long before becoming an actress. She is the daughter of former actor, librettist and director Jaime Botero Gómez. She is the niece of Dora Cadavid.
