Amelie Kober (born 16 November 1987, in Bad Aibling) is a German Federal Police officer and Olympic medalist in snowboarding. Biography At the Junior World Championships 2005 in Zermatt, Switzerland she won silver. In the World Cup she was ranked fifth. She was the youngest competitor in the Parallel Giant Slalom competition at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy. Despite a fall during the quarter finals, she caught up with her competitor and proceeded to the semi-finals and final round, winning silver. At the FIS Snowboarding World Championships 2007 in Arosa, Switzerland she won silver in the Parallel Giant Slalom competition. Princess Amélie Rives Troubetzkoy (August 23, 1863 – June 15, 1945) was an American author of novels, poetry, and plays. ''The Quick or the Dead?'' Amelie Posse-Brázdová (11 February 1884, in Stockholm – 3 March 1957) was a Swedish author. She is also known for her work against nazism during World War II. Amelie Posse was the daughter of Count Fredrik Arvidsson Posse and Auda Gunhild Wennerberg. She was married to the criminal psychologist Andreas Bjerre in 1904–1912, with whom she had a son, Sören Christer Bjerre (1905-1967), who was declared insane in 1921 but eventually in adulthood became a journalist. Her mother died when she was three months old and her father, Abraham, a Town Representative (public prosecutor) died when she was eight. From 1860 to 1862, she attended the "Svenska Privatskolan" in Oulu. From 1872 to 1876 she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, Helsinki, with a brief stay at the School of Art and Design in Stockholm, which was made possible by a travel grant.
