Amritsar–Jamnagar Expressway
Amritsar–Jamnagar Expressway (NH-754) is an under-construction 1,257 km long, 6-lane wide expressway in the north-western part of India. The expressway will reduce the distance between Amritsar and Jamnagar from earlier 1,430 km to 1,316 km (including Kapurthala-Amritsar section) and the time travel from 26 hours to only 13 hours. It is a part of the Bharatmala and Amritsar–Jamnagar Economic Corridor (EC-3). It will pass through four states of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Gujarat. The expressway is strategically important, as it will connect 3 big oil refineries of HMEL Bathinda, HPCL Barmer and RIL Jamnagar. It will also connect Guru Nanak Dev Thermal Plant (Bathinda) and Suratgarh Super Thermal Power Plant ( Sri Ganganagar). Tibba
Tibba, previously known as Tiba, is an ancient village in Kapurthala District in the state of Punjab, India. It was once known for the rural sport of Punjab, Kabaddi & Pehalwani. Suratgarh is a city and a municipality, just nearby Sri Ganganagar city in Sri Ganganagar district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Founded by Maharaja Surat Singh (1765 - 1828). Guru Nanak Dev Thermal Plant
The Guru Nanak Dev Thermal Plant at Bathinda was one of the three coal-fired thermal power stations in Punjab (the other being at Lehra Mohabat and Ropar). It was a medium-sized power station with four units that were begun to be built in early 1970s and completed in 1982. All total generate up to 460 MW (2x110+2x120 MW) of power that meets the irrigation needs of lower Punjab. Having generated electricity to meet the power demand of Punjab, the thermal plant shut down indefinitely on September 27, 2017. The plant was named after the first Sikh guru and founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak. Capacity It had an installed capacity of 440 MW. Barmer Refinery
Barmer Refinery is an upcoming public sector refinery and petrochemical complex in the Pachpadra near Balotra in Barmer district of Rajasthan, India. It is owned by HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited(HRRL), a joint venture between Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited and the Government of Rajasthan.This refinery will be connected with Jamnagar Refinery and Bathinda Refinery through Amritsar Jamnagar Expressway.
