Americana Music Festival
The Americana Music Festival & Conference is a music festival and music industry conference that takes place every year (usually in September). The first was held in 2000. It has since grown into a five-day multi-venue production. It is run by the Americana Music Association which is a professional not-for-profit trade organization whose mission is to promote awareness, provide a forum, and advocate for the creative and economic vitality of the Americana music genre. Overview The Americana Music Festival & Conference is a five-day multi venue music festival and conference. All venues are located in or around downtown Nashville most within walking distance from the host hotel. In 2012, the event utilized nineteen different venues including The Ryman Auditorium, Hard Rock Cafe, and the SiriusXM theater at Bridgestone Arena. Elizabeth Cook
Elizabeth Cook (born July 18, 1972) is an American country music singer and radio host. She has made over 400 appearances on the Grand Ole Opry since her debut on March 17, 2000, despite not being a member. Cook, "the daughter of a hillbilly singer married to a moonshiner who played his upright bass while in a prison band", was "virtually unknown to the pop masses" before she made a debut appearance on the ''Late Show with David Letterman'' in June 2012. Bonnaroo (or Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival) is an American annual four-day music festival developed and founded by Superfly Presents and AC Entertainment. Bonnaroo has taken place at what is now Great Stage Park, a 700-acre (280 ha) farm in Manchester, Tennessee, since it was founded in 2002. The festival typically starts on the second Thursday in June and lasts four days. Musical acts begin on Wednesday evening and end on Sunday night. The Avett Brothers are an American folk rock band from Concord, North Carolina. Jack Henderson Clement (April 5, 1931 – August 8, 2013) was an American musician, songwriter, record producer, film producer and music executive. He was producer and engineer for Sam Phillips at Sun Records in its early days, discovering Jerry Lee Lewis and recording the "Million Dollar Quartet" session with Lewis, Carl Perkins, Elvis Presley, and Johnny Cash. Bruce Ben Robison (born June 11, 1966) is an American Texas country music singer-songwriter. Mirriam Johnson (born May 25, 1943), known professionally as Jessi Colter, is an American country singer who is best known for her collaborations with her second husband, country musician Waylon Jennings, and for her 1975 crossover hit " I'm Not Lisa".
