America's Top 10
''America's Top 10'' (commonly abbreviated to ''AT10'') was a popular weekly syndicated music television chart show that began airing in 1980 and ran until 1992. The show was hosted by Casey Kasem throughout its run, with Charlie Tuna announcing. In later years, Siedah Garrett and Tommy Puett would often host the show from the studio, with Kasem performing interviews and regular segments "on the road". Martha Quinn filled in for Kasem in two 1988 episodes. The program was a production of Kasem-Bustany Productions in association with Scotti Brothers-Syd Vinnedge Television, with distribution initially handled by Gold Key Media; the show eventually fell under the auspices of All American Television, the successor to both Scotti-Vinnedge and Gold Key Media. A record chart, in the music industry, also called a music chart, is a ranking of Sound recording and reproduction, recorded music according to certain criteria during a given period. Many different criteria are used in worldwide charts, often in combination. These include record sales, the amount of radio airplay, the number of music download, downloads, and the amount of streaming media, streaming activity. Some charts are specific to a particular musical genre and most to a particular geographical location. The most common period covered by a chart is one week with the chart being printed or broadcast at the end of this time. Summary charts for years and decades are then calculated from their component weekly charts. ''Night Network'', ''Night Time'' and ''Night Shift'' were names given to the overnight (usually between 12 and 6am) schedule of the ITV (TV network), ITV network in the United Kingdom. The first ITV company began 24-hour broadcasting in 1986, with all of the companies broadcasting through the night by the end of 1988. At first, individual companies created their own services, however before too long, many of the smaller ITV stations began simulcasting or networking services from others. ''Casey's Top 40'' was a syndicated radio music program that was distributed by the Westwood One radio network. The show was a vehicle for former '' American Top 40'' host and co-creator Casey Kasem and ran for over nine years. Like Kasem's prior show, ''Casey's Top 40'' aired on weekends, emanated from Hollywood, California, and was a countdown of the 40 biggest hits of the week on the popular music chart.
