Amal Abul-Qassem Donqol
Amal Abul-Qassem Donqol ( arz, أمل ابو القاسم دنقل, ; 1940 – 21 May 1983) was an Egyptian poet whose poems were influenced by Greek mythology, then pre- Islamic and Islamic imagery to modernize Arabic poetry. He was born in Al Qalah, Qfta, Qena and completed his secondary education there in 1957. He attended the faculty of Arts in 1958 just after his graduation from the secondary education stage. He dropped out to work as an employee at Qena Court of Justice as well as the Customs Department of Suez and Alexandria and the Afro-Asian People's Solidarity Organisation for a living before the end of his first year in the faculty. Amal Nasser El-Din
Amal Nasser el-Din ( ar, أمل نصر الدين, he, אמל נסראלדין; born 31 July 1928) is an Israeli Druze author and former politician who served as a member of the Knesset for Likud between 1977 and 1988. Biography El-Din was born in Daliyat al-Karmel during the Mandate era. He headed the section for demobilised soldiers from 1961 and 1964, and became director of the Yad LeBanim memorial project for killed Druze, Bedouin and Circassian IDF soldiers in 1969. From 1964 until 1971 he served as secretary of the Daliyat al-Karmel and Isfiya Workers Council. In 1969 his son Lutfi was killed on his last day of his national service. In 2008 his grandson, also named Lutfi, was killed during Operation Cast Lead. Originally a member of Mapai, he joined Herut in 1971. Little Amal
Little Amal is a partly-animatronic giant puppet which was used as the centrepiece of a performance art project called The Walk in 2021. The project was created by the British production companies The Walk Productions and Good Chance in collaboration with the South African Handspring Puppet Company. With the intention of celebrating human migration and cultural diversity, the puppet was carried during five months from the Syria-Turkey border via Europe to the United Kingdom, and walked and took part in locally arranged events in 65 towns and cities along the way. Little Amal was greeted at some venues by local dignitaries, such as Pope Francis, Vincent Nichols Archbishop of Westminster and Cllr Caroline Makinson, Mayor of Barnsley. Amal Neerad (born on 7 October 1976) is an Indian film director, cinematographer and Film producer, producer who mainly works in Malayalam Cinema. He attended the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata (first batch). He was awarded the National Film Award for Best Cinematography (special mention) in 2001 for his diploma film ''Meena Jha'' (short feature section). He started his career shooting music videos, documentaries and ads. It was his Diploma film that brought him to the attention of Ram Gopal Verma and his team. Amal Murkus
Amal Murkus ( ar, أمل مرقس, he, אמל מורקוס, born 11 July 1968) is a Palestinian singer. Her post-modern music style has a variety of Mediterranean influences. Her first album, ''Amal'', was released in 1998, and her second, ''Shauq'', in 2004. Her songs take inspiration by Palestinian folklore, traditional Arabic heritage, and pop music elements, and express the struggle against the marginalization and exclusion that Arab Palestinian culture feels. Early life Murkus was born and raised in the Arab town of Kafr Yasif in the Galilee area, and has devoted her career to promoting Palestinian music and culture. She was the fifth born out of six daughters. Murkus has been performing since she was five years old. In 1979, she won first prize in the Arab children's song festival, and went on to graduate from the Institute for Stage Art "Beit Tsvi" in 1990.
