''Alt for Norge'' (''All for Norway'', marketed in the United States as ''The Great Norway Adventure'') is a Norwegian reality television series which debuted in 2010 and appears on TVNorge and hosted by Fridtjof Nilsen. The reality show features Norwegian Americans participating in challenges relating to Norwegian history and culture, competing to win a reunion with their distant Norwegian relatives. Kjetil Jansrud
Kjetil Jansrud (born 28 August 1985) is a Norwegian former World Cup alpine ski racer and Olympic champion. He competed in all alpine disciplines apart from slalom, and his best event was the giant slalom where he has six World Cup podiums and an Olympic silver medal. Since 2012, he had concentrated on the speed events, where all but two of his World Cup victories had come. At the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, he won the super-G and placed third in the downhill. At the World Championships in 2019 at Åre, Jansrud won gold in the downhill. Tinn is a Municipalities of Norway, municipality in Telemark in the Counties of Norway, county of Vestfold og Telemark in Norway. Balestrand Municipality
Balestrand is a former municipality in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. It was located on the northern shore of the Sognefjorden in the traditional district of Sogn. The administrative center was the village of Balestrand. Other villages in the municipality included Ese, Kvamme, Låne, Sæle, Tjugum, and Vetlefjorden. The municipality was situated at the confluence of the Fjærlandsfjorden/Esefjorden and the main Sognefjorden. The major industries in the municipality were tourism and farming. Gudvangen
Gudvangen is a village in Aurland Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is a popular tourist destination and is located at the end of the Nærøyfjord where the Nærøydalselvi river empties into the fjord. The European route E16 highway passes by the village. Heading southwest on the highway leads to Voss municipality while heading northeast the E16 enters the Gudvanga Tunnel on its way to the villages of Flåm, Undredal, and Aurlandsvangen. Kari Christine Tauring (born July 4, 1966) is an American folk musician, author, and teacher. She sings and writes Nordic folk music of her familial Norwegian heritage. Her career began in the early 1990s in Rose Absolute, a duo with vocalist Gina Sauer, while her first solo studio album, ''Faith in Me'', was released in 1998. Tauring has released five albums, and an extended play. Joseph Ruud (born November 28, 1981) is an American professional wrestler performing as Erick Redbeard. Having previously wrestled in Japan, where he trained and performed for Pro Wrestling Noah, Ruud signed a contract with WWE in 2011. Helleland
Helleland is a village and parish in Eigersund municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The village is located along the river Hedlandsåna and the European route E39 highway, about northeast of the town of Egersund. The Sørlandet Line runs along the river near Helleland, stopping at Helleland Station. Historically, the Helleland clerical district included all the churches in the Helleland parish, Bjerkreim parish (with a chapel in Øvrebygd), and Heskestad parish.
