Alpine Skiing
Alpine skiing, or downhill skiing, is the pastime of sliding down snow-covered slopes on skis with fixed-heel bindings, unlike other types of skiing ( cross-country, Telemark, or ski jumping), which use skis with free-heel bindings. Emma Carrick-Anderson (born 17 June 1975) is a Scottish former alpine skier who competed for Great Britain at the Winter Olympic Games in 1992, 1994, 1998 and 2002.
