Roger Staub
Roger Staub (1 July 1936 – 30 June 1974) was a Swiss alpine ski racer and Olympic gold medalist. Born in Arosa, Graubünden, Staub won the giant slalom at the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley and also won multiple medals at the 1958 World Championships. He finished fourth in the Olympic downhill in 1956 at age 19. He also won a number of Swiss national titles. After a brief career as a professional racer in the early 1960s, Staub became ski school director at the fledgling Vail resort in Colorado. He also had a ski school in Arosa and sporting goods interests in Switzerland. During a summer visit to Switzerland in 1974 with his wife and young child, Staub was killed in a ski gliding accident near Verbier on the eve of his 38th birthday. François Bonlieu
François Pierre Philippe Bonlieu (21 March 1937 – 18 August 1973) was a French Alpine skiing, alpine skier. Born at Juvincourt-et-Damary, Aisne, Bonlieu debuted for the French alpine skiing national team when he was 15 years old. From 1958 until 1959 he became a four times French Champion (twice in the Giant Slalom, once in the Slalom and Alpine Combined). He was murdered at Croisette in Cannes after an argument. References

Verne Anderson
Verne R. Anderson (19 July 1937–October 1984) was a Canadian alpine ski competitor and coach. He was a member of Canada's first national ski team competing in one Winter Olympics, and was head coach of the Canadian team at a subsequent Winter Olympics. Anderson was born in Nelson, British Columbia, and was a member of Canada's first national ski team formed in 1959. He was a member of the Canadian team at the 1960 Winter Olympics held at Squaw Valley, California competing in all three alpine skiing disciplines for men. He placed 19th in slalom with a time of 2:29.3, 24th in giant slalom with a time of 1:56.1, and 22nd in downhill with a time of 2:15.9.
